helllloooooooo everyone! damn ive been gone a long time ): at least now most of the projects are over! hahaha ermmm. okay so i think i shall blog on when we watched the To Kill a Mockingbird play by Toy Factory/story (cant rmb!!!)

okay so yeah the setting was quite modern and abstract. yeah. hm. for the part where bob ewell dies the rest of the cast like stand on stools and wave stools over their heads like they're trees :) damn cool! and the lighting and all that was rather awesome. i especially liked the ending part hahaha. haha dill was damn cute and funny :) jem was cute but his acting was rather stiff. scout was quite convincing but she seemed more like a spoiled brat than a headstrong girl. atticus was good :) miss stephanie crawfurd was good too! but but but the guy playing tom robinson wasn't good enough. his accent was so fake la.

okay so overall the cast was AVERAGE but their skin tone wasn't convincing :O like mr ng said, their black and white dressing wasn't stylized enough. and the singaporeans' fake Southern accents just sound pathetic. one disadvantage of adapting a book into a play is that the audience already know what will happen and most of the times they'll find stuff which you missed out and go, "aiyah why they never show this part!" aunt alexandria was completely missing in the play! LIKE HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE LOL. hmmmm. well this play was okay la. but the tix damn exp. haha. at least sch and edusave paid for it!
